🎭 The Power of Purpose: 1016 Alpine Heights Triumphs Under Director Profit's Visionary Leadership

Lucrum Entertainment is proud to celebrate the resounding success of 1016 Alpine Heights—a sold-out theatrical event that delivered powerful performances, emotional depth, and a production value that left audiences inspired and uplifted. At the helm of it all was Lucrum’s very own creative force, Ms. C. Ethena Profit, whose direction turned Fannie Mitchell’s riveting script into an unforgettable stage experience.

But behind the curtains was a team just as dynamic as the cast in the spotlight.

Led by Women. Powered by Youth. Rooted in Excellence.

Director Profit’s bold creative vision was supported by an all-female, all-teen stage crew, a groundbreaking move that proved that leadership, excellence, and poise have no age limit. These young women managed scene changes, props, and backstage flow with professional precision—showcasing the power of youth when given real responsibility.

Alongside Profit was her Assistant Director, Cadet Airman First Class Soumah Sugri, whose military discipline and calm under pressure ensured every detail was executed with excellence. Her contributions helped maintain a structured and high-performing rehearsal and show environment from day one.

Another name deserving a special salute: Cadet Airman Naaya Sugri, who served as Production Assistant with discipline, heart, and unmatched dedication.

As a young cadet and aspiring creative, Naaya brought military precision and a servant-leader mindset to every task—whether it was managing props, coordinating cast movement, or ensuring backstage operations ran seamlessly. She proved that age is no barrier when excellence is the standard.

With a calm under pressure and an unwavering commitment to the team, Cadet Sugri’s presence was felt in every successful cue and transition. Her leadership style was quiet but powerful, reminding us that sometimes the strongest voices are the ones working diligently behind the scenes.

Production That Raised the Bar

Sound was masterfully designed and operated by DJ Tellz Spyn  and Amari Gatewood-Peterson .

A master of sound, DJ Tellz brought more than music—he brought atmosphere, energy, and emotional timing. From cueing dramatic shifts to underscoring poignant moments, every scene was elevated by his intuitive ability to blend sound with story.

What made DJ Tellz Spyn stand out wasn’t just his technical skill—it was his commitment to excellence and collaboration. He worked closely with the director, cast, and fellow sound team member Amari Gatewood-Peterson to ensure a flawless auditory experience that moved the audience as much as the visuals on stage.

More than a DJ, Tellz is a sound architect, helping build unforgettable moments through intentional layers of audio, mood, and musicality. His work on this production sets the tone for the future of sound design in live theatre—and Lucrum is proud to have him as part of our creative family.

Amari Gatewood Peterson, a proud music major at Grambling State University, Amari not only delivered a breathtaking solo performance of the Black National Anthem, but also served as a vital part of the production’s sound design team alongside DJ Tellz Spyn. His dual contribution—as both artist and technician—showcases the depth of his talent and the bright future ahead of him.

Amari’s voice set the emotional tone for 1016 Alpine Heights, and his work behind the soundboard ensured that every scene was crisp, impactful, and fully immersive. His ability to navigate both the creative and technical aspects of live production with ease is a testament to his training, professionalism, and natural gift.

More than a performer, Amari is a leader—quietly commanding excellence in everything he touches. His presence added authenticity, beauty, and soul to this production, and Lucrum Entertainment is honored to have had his brilliance on our stage and behind the scenes.

Keep watching—because Amari Gatewood-Peterson is on a path toward greatness.

Bringing the visual artistry to life was Director of Photography Mr. Jimmy Holland of Kerkerdine Music, whose expert eye ensured the production was captured with cinematic precision. His work preserved the show’s magic while adding depth and drama through the lens—making 1016 Alpine Heights not just a theatrical success, but a visual one.

A True Lucrum Masterpiece

From casting to curtain call, 1016 Alpine Heights was a testament to Lucrum’s commitment to creative empowerment and community-centered excellence. With set design by Jose Barahona of Vegas44 Marketing & Advertising, and music contributions from artists like Shaolin Masala (“Queen Awakening”) Monty, and

the production was a full-circle collaboration of Black brilliance, local talent, and emerging youth leaders.

In addition to her role as Latrice White, Savasha Feazell-Daniels, known on stage as Mzphit, brought an electrifying surprise to 1016 Alpine Heights—delivering a live rap performance that lit up the stage and had the audience on their feet.

A Las Vegas-based rapper and lyrical powerhouse, Mzphit infused the show with raw energy, authenticity, and hometown pride. Her performance wasn’t just a musical part of the show—it was a showstopping moment that seamlessly blended theatrical drama with hip-hop culture, further grounding the production in the voice of the people it represents.

Every show sold out. Every performance earned a standing ovation. Every person involved left a mark.
